日本人に共通する英語のミス

ポイント１: 

数えられる名詞は、普通「複数形」にするのが一般的です。
Japanese people like things which come from foreign countries. 


ポイント２: 

People はふつう複数形で用いられ、police, pants, trousers, jeans, pajamas, scissors, glasses 等は
常に複数形で扱われる。従って動詞は are, were, have となります。
また、単数を表す a, this, that は使えません。
American people are bigger than Japanese people.  
Where are the scissors ? 


ポイント３: 

food, fruit はふつう数えられない名詞で単数形で使われ a はつけません。
その他、homework, housework, advice, information, knowledge, furniture なども数えられない名詞で、単数形で使われます。 
We ate a lot of delicious food. 
My mother gave me some fruit. 
My father often gives me good advice. 


ポイント４: 

「〜のうちの一つ」 One of 〜　は常に複数形名詞を伴います。
She is one of the most popular actresses in Japan.
